Who said that a robot could not be able to do whatever dance move is happening right now? Well, that is a thing of the past for right now, you can get yourself one right in your very own home. Now that is something quite amazing, isn’t it? After all, a few years before, you may not even have heard of it being available to the public.

Amazement is the very first thing that people feel when they do see this toy robot. This is known as the Program-A-Bot and it has brought hours of fun and laughter among those who witness the tricks that it can do. Families and friends have surely bonded well with this toy because of how wonderful it can do things.

So what are the things that the Program-A-Bot can do for you? Well, see, the designers of this toy robot did not want it to be just like any other toy robot you can find in the market right now. In fact, it made it something different than the rest. For example, other robots in the market can do just one or two tricks. One robot can talk back to you with some phrases which have been programmed in it by its creators. There is another robot which can walk in various directions as long as it does not bump into anything in its direction. And then there are others which can act like a real baby. What would you do if your computer just had a mouse but did not have a keyboard? Or how about if you had a keyboard but it did not just work? Well, you sure may be quite having a hard time because you do need the keyboard for input and you cannot type in what you need to put in if the keyboard was not around. Sure you can copy and paste things but it is going to take you a long time – in fact, an even longer time than the usual. The whole thought of spending time on your computer is not going to be that appealing to you.

This is the reason why a lot of people take really good care of their keyboards. In fact, it is a known fact that among those who spend a lot of time on computers, the keyboard is the part of the whole machine that is most used. The mouse is there as a supplement but it is not used as the main part to control it.

I am often stopped on the street with questions about the solar panels on my backpack, so I figured that I’d write an article about it.

Shortly after the big northeastern blackout in the summer of 2003, I began looking at alternate power sources to keep my devices going when traditional power was unavailable.

I came across a backpack that was fitted with solar panels and a battery for storage. The backpack is by a company called voltaic systems and is equipped with adapters for many common small appliances including cell phones, IPODS, Iphones, Blackberries, Digital Cameras, USB and more. The battery is also equipped with a built in light, which is helpful when the power goes out.

Also included is a wall adapter and car charger to charge the battery in low – sun environments or the winter.

There is also an adapter that will charge devices with a car light adapter (GPS, Auto charger or other)

I recently installed the optional water bladder, which allows you to add up to 3 Liters of water to the bag. There is a drinking tube that can be run down one of the cable channels on the shoulder straps. I fill mine with Ice and water to provide for a convenient cold drink, when walking , or riding my bike in the heat.

Zune HD: Is it the next competitor of iPod Touch?

The iPod Touch owners may no long feel the superior feeling because here comes a new more vibrant music gadget called the Zune HD! This is the latest gadget from Microsoft who had demonstrated the features of the music device live and already generated buzz that it is going to be a better gadget than the iPod Touch.

The private demo of Microsoft’s first touch screen player at the D7 technology has indeed created a kind of buzz around that its distinctiveness are very much imposing and they have the quality to pose threat to the sophistication level of iPod Touch in lots of features. Some of the features of the Zune HD seem enhanced than TOUCH. Dissimilar to Windows Mobile phones, which are usually come with inaccurate and sluggish resistive touch-screen, the Zune HD has a capacitive touchscreen like the iPod touch and responds both swiftly and precisely to finger input. These and the construction distinction were enough to immediately surprise spectators.

VoIP in India Phone Market

The VoIP phone market is growing at a phenomenal rate globally and the India phone market could not be left far behind. VoIP is picking up in the India phone market and it is expected to be the second largest market in the APAC after China. Looking at the numerous advantages that this technology offers this trend was certainly expected. The huge cost savings and the feature rich communication solution that this technology offers cannot be matched by traditional telephony.

As per the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), approximately 160 million minutes of VoIP communication took place from June 04 to July 05 as compared to approximately 84 million minutes over the same period in the previous year. This growth rate is expected to speed up further in the coming years.

Growth of VoIP in the India phone market can be attributed to a large number of factors. Cheap and easy availability of broadband connections is one of the major factors that is driving this growth.

Time to save up all those files!

Well, if you do remember the days before technology was as great as it is today, saving files can be a huge task. You may have been required to do a project and when you try to transfer it to a diskette, you would find that you have to chop it up into smaller bits so you can save them all. Plus, you had to use a number of diskettes just to be able to have one complete project. Those days really were hard, do you not think so?
